Alliance universities are tackling the big challenges of our times through their research – whether that be innovations in healthcare, in green energy or digital transformation.
Their research and business support activities are particularly essential for SMEs – the lifeblood of our local economies.
Alliance universities are delivering: graduate start-ups, quality applied research in partnership with industry, spinout companies, dedicated business support services.
In total, we estimate that over 24,000 businesses and organisations each year are supported to start up and grow by alliance universities.
