Within the University of Greenwich’s Aquatic Biotechnology and Biology Research Group, which is concerned with the sustainable use of water resources under changing climatic conditions, Supattra’s doctoral thesis is looking at how the anaerobic digestion of seaweed can enhance biogas production. Supattra presented her research during 2020 at the 2nd International Conference for Energy and Sustainable Futures (ICESF), set up by the DTA Energy Directors and co-hosted by the University of Hertfordshire in 2020, and her conference paper ‘Enhancing methane production from spring-harvested Sargassum muticum’ was published under open access as part of the ICESF proceedings: https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-030-63916-7_15
