University Alliance welcomes Susanna Kalitowski, who starts today, as the new Head of Policy. Susanna joins UA from the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY), where she was Policy and Research Manager. PACEY represents 30,000 professionals working across the childcare and early years sector.
Susanna has extensive experience as a researcher and public policy professional, having worked for a variety of organisations including the Equality and Human Rights Commission, the Hansard Society, and the Institute for Public Policy Research.
CEO Vanessa Wilson welcomed her appointment saying,
“We’re delighted that Susanna is joining us, especially during this exciting time for the Alliance as we renew our vision, strategy and mission. Her wealth of experience in influencing politicians, the media and the public through insight and research will be valuable as we develop our future campaign priorities.
Susanna said:
“I’m really excited to be joining University Alliance during this pivotal moment for the sector. The case for a world-class higher education system has never been more important – and a strong policy voice for University Alliance never more necessary. I’m looking forward to working in partnership with UA members to ensure technical and professional universities are at the heart of the debate during these uncertain times.”
