University Alliance welcomes Beth Button as the new Head of Communications and Public Affairs. Beth has over 6 years’ experience working in the Higher Education sector, from NUS Wales, Universities Wales and most recently at UUK where she headed up the hugely successful ‘Made at Uni’ campaign.
UA CEO Vanessa Wilson welcomed her appointment saying, ‘As University Alliance renews its vision, strategy and mission we are extremely pleased to have Beth joining the team.
‘Beth has a huge breadth of knowledge and experience in Higher Education and her work on the ‘Made at Uni’ campaign will stand her in good stead as we strive to champion the causes of our members and celebrate their critical contribution in the sector, their communities and delivering the future skills of the nation. I look forward to working with Beth.’
Beth said, ‘I’m delighted to be joining University Alliance. This is an exciting time for the organisation and I’m really looking forward to working with Vanessa and the team, and with UA members, to further champion the transformative contribution of Alliance Universities during an important period for post-18 education.’
